Responsibilities:
- Analyze and follow up on patient accounts, including third-party payer follow-ups.
- Review and analyze physician, outpatient, and inpatient accounts.
- Identify and resolve issues causing claim denials or payment delays.
- Review ICD-10 and CPT code denials and medical necessity denials.
- Submit written claim/payment disputes and prepare appeals for denied claims.
- Follow up on claim statuses and communicate with other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Coding certification (AHIMA or AAPC) preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a healthcare setting.
- Proficient in EPIC application (preferred).
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
Salary : $55,000 - $69,000
