Corporate Accounting Manager
We are assisting one of our client in their search for an experienced Corporate Accounting Manager. This role reports directly to the Managing Director of Corporate Finance and requires a strong foundation in technical, regulatory, and tax accounting. Ideal candidates will have audit experience in the finance industry, particularly with investment advisors operating both domestically and internationally. Additionally, a solid finance background and strong analytical mindset are essential to complement accounting expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Research, evaluate, and analyze GAAP, IFRS, regulatory, and tax matters applicable to the firm.
- Collaborate with the Corporate Accounting team and external auditors to complete year-end audits for domestic and international entities.
- Manage quarterly and annual tax filings along with required regulatory filings.
- Support monthly financial reporting, financial planning initiatives, and ad hoc projects.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements in partnership with the Corporate Accounting team.
Qualifications & Requirements
- 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
- Bachelor’s degree required; CPA designation preferred.
- Strong analytical skills to assess and implement new and existing accounting regulations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex accounting issues.
- A team-oriented mindset with strong project and time management abilities.
