A high-end boutique hotel located in Downtown Washington DC is seeking a Director of Engineering.
Responsibilities :
- Looking for someone with 10-plus years of experience in Hospitality Maintenance and Engineering.
- Must have strong management and technical experience.
- Be familiar with DC Building Regulations : Fire Code, Fire Alarm Inspection, Backflow, Elevator Inspections, DC Health Department, etc.
- Must know methods and materials used in general building maintenance, carpentry, plumbing, electrical and HVAC units.
- Someone who will roll up their sleeves and handle situations.
- Must know building systems and know how to operate.
- Making sure guests are taken care of in an exceptional manner.
- Manage a team and payroll.
