Compensation: $75,000 to $80,000 per year
FLSA: Exempt/Overtime Ineligible

Position Summary:
The Development Manager will work closely with the Director of Development to implement fundraising strategies for the organization. The role is focused on engaging and retaining small-level donors both online and in person while helping to build a major donor pipeline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct donor research and create concise and accurate research profiles using biographical information, philanthropic history, and other relevant data.
- Solicit gifts up to $5,000 through online and in-person opportunities.
- Manage donor relationships and ensure accurate donor information.
- Prepare donor and prospect research reports.
- Assist with the recruitment and logistics for fundraising events.
- Track and report fundraising trends and forecasts using Salesforce.
- Support administrative tasks and marketing efforts, including drafting fundraising emails.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and follow through on tasks.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including clarity in written and verbal communication.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Passion for the mission of the organization.
- Knowledge of trends in the philanthropic world.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with a team and operate with a high degree of professionalism.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (required).
- 2-3 years of related work experience, ideally at the same organization or in similar roles.
- Proven track record in executing fundraising strategic plans and achieving goals.
- Experience working with Jewish communal leadership and an understanding of donor community dynamics.
