A top-tier chemical processing facility is seeking a Mechanical Engineering Supervisor to lead its Mechanical Integrity program and drive capital projects from concept to execution. This leadership role blends hands-on engineering with team mentorship, project oversight, and cross-functional collaboration to improve plant safety, reliability, and efficiency.
π§ Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and execution of plant and equipment upgrades
- Own the Mechanical Integrity program; ensure inspection schedules and standards are met
- Provide engineering support to operations, maintenance, and safety teams
- Mentor engineers and technicians; foster technical growth across the team
- Oversee capital project planning, budgeting, and scheduling
- Collaborate with internal departments and external vendors/contractors
- Review and manage change orders, drawings, and technical documentation
- Participate in turnarounds, hazard reviews, and safety inspections
β Qualifications:
- B.S. in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
- 15 years in engineering within chemical, refining, or oil & gas environments
- Strong leadership experience over technical teams or project groups
- Deep knowledge of Mechanical Integrity standards and codes (API, ASME, etc.)
- Capital project and cost estimating experience
- Proficient in PSM, MOC, and Inspection Database Management (PCMS preferred)
- Strong problem-solving skills and MS Office proficiency
- Excellent communication in English (verbal & written)
