A highly successful RE firm, is actively seeking a 5 year Property/Real Estate Accountant to join their team. This person will be responsible for preparing monthly financial packages for a portfolio of commercial properties and maintaining monthly financial schedules. This is a fully onsite position that is offering a strong compensation package and long-term career development within the company.
Responsibilities and Qualifications:
• Monthly financial package preparation for commercial properties
• Responsible for month-end close processes, accruals, and reviewing the general ledger for accuracy
• Responsible for AP/AR functions and bank reconciliations
• Annual budget preparation
• Must be willing to work onsite 3x a week.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field required
• 5 years of RE accounting/Property accounting experience
• Strong Microsoft Office skills (knowledge of Yardi is a plus)
• Commercial RE experience required
Salary : $80,000 - $95,000
