Prestigious Real Estate Development/Management firm is looking for a Senior Assistant General Counsel to join their team in the NY office. AGC must have managed outside counsel and have experience leading transactions. Looking for law firm and in-house experience.
- Will draft/negotiate purchase agreements to facilitate the acquisition and development of multifamily properties with a focus on affordable housing.
- Will oversee and manage complex multifamily real estate transactions.
- Must have experience in drafting and negotiating loan agreements, including Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae financing, to support multifamily and affordable housing projects.
- Will work closely with development team on contracts and matters related to multifamily real estate transactions, emphasis on affordable housing.
- Will negotiate construction documents, AIA documents, and other construction-related documents to ensure compliance and protect the interests of multifamily and affordable housing initiatives
