The Senior Tax Manager plays a key role in supporting senior tax leadership, including the EVP of Tax and Tax Directors, in managing tax compliance, strategic tax planning, and accounting for income taxes, with a strong focus on global operations. This position requires collaboration with financial management and leadership of a highly skilled and diverse tax team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee tax compliance, including the review of complex book-to-tax differences and state tax filings, ensuring accuracy in reporting for U.S. and international operations.
- Develop and execute global tax strategies aligned with corporate goals, managing tax planning initiatives to optimize efficiency.
- Assess tax implications of acquisitions, dispositions, and legal entity restructuring, providing strategic tax planning to minimize global tax liabilities.
- Collaborate with the heads of tax compliance and strategic tax administration on key initiatives.
- Lead analyses related to tax reforms and their impact on accounting for income taxes, focusing on global operations.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of both domestic and international business operations to ensure compliance and strategic tax planning.
- Handle complex tax projects and provide insights to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting; a Master’s in Taxation and CPA designation are highly preferred.
- At least eight (8) years of relevant experience, including a minimum of five (5) years in public accounting.
- Proven leadership experience with a track record of managing teams effectively.
- Expertise in corporate tax, ASC 740 (accounting for income taxes), and international tax compliance.
- Strong knowledge of GAAP and tax-related financial reporting.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
- Strong leadership, collaboration, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in tax software, with experience in OneSource Tax Provision preferred.
- Familiarity with integrated financial management systems such as Hyperion or Oracle is a plus.
Salary : $130,000 - $160,000
