Key Responsibilities:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified General Laborer (Fruit Season) to support the Supply Chain team to ensure the company’s goals and initiatives are met.
This role will be responsible for unloading the fruit from the semi-truck trailers, using high pressure hose to clean up, shoveling fruit and debris off the floor, and cleaning and maintaining areas including decks, bins, trash chutes, destemmer and the pit areas beneath the decks. Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and maintaining the fruit receiving areas including the decks, bins, trash chutes, de-stemmer and the pit area beneath the decks
- The clean-up uses a broom, rake, shovel, and a high-pressure water hose to clean and maintain area
- The weight load of debris that is shoveled is at the discretion of the worker
- Clean out de-stemmer
- Stretching of hands, arms, back, shoulders, neck, and legs is suggested. Seat rotations are also suggested as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma/ GED or equivalent work experience
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to work on high platforms

- Candidates must demonstrate compliance with all safety, GMP, and work rules at all times.
- Use the proper techniques for shoveling, raking, and using the pitchfork when picking up fruit and/or debris
