Role Overview:
Tropicana Brands Group is looking for a highly qualified Consumer Insights Manager to act as the voice of the consumer, partnering closely with Brand Marketing and Innovation teams to help shape our portfolio of brands, our marketing plans, and our innovation pipelines. As part of the Marketing Strategy & Insights team, the Consumer Insights Manager will be responsible for planning, executing, and actioning consumer learning agendas, connecting the dots between existing and new information to build compelling insights and recommendations that can drive growth for TBG.
Additional responsibilities include:
- Support the development and activation of consumer learning plans to address TBG’s most important knowledge gaps in support of top growth goals. Project examples: brand equity and positioning research, creative testing, Gen Z and multicultural understanding, consumption and occasion-based tracking, new product concept testing.
- Synthesize & simplify data from multiple sources to bring holistic consumer perspective to the business, including qualitative and quantitative research, secondary research, retail scan and HH panel data, competitive intelligence, etc.
- Inspire and influence cross-functional teams to reimagine the juice category by staying ahead of trends.
- Collaborate with a range of stakeholders, distilling research and insights into actionable recommendations that cross-functional teams can act on.
- Ensure brand and marketing objectives are grounded in consumer insight.
- Manage and develop relationships with external research suppliers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Marketing Research, Data Science, Psychology, or related field
- 5 years' experience in CPG marketing or consumer insights & analytics; food & beverage experience preferred, but not required
- Independent self-starter, comfortable jumping into new projects with some level of ambiguity
- Strong communication & storytelling skills, with ability to synthesize key learnings and visualize data for clear insights and recommendations
- Familiarity with syndicated data sources (i.e. Circana, Nielsen), qual and quant research methods, brand tracking and research
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
- Must be located in Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment.

The salary range for this position is $88,000 - $120,0000 annually.
