Retail Program Associate

Position Overview
Reporting to the Retail Sales Manager, the Retail Program Associate will manage relationships with existing retail clients, collaborate with internal teams to resolve challenges, and handle client inquiries via phone, email, and service portals. This role is critical in onboarding new retail clients and ensuring top-tier customer service.
Success in this role requires experience in large-scale organic waste programs and a strong understanding of waste and recycling services, including industry-specific logistics and equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for retail clients, addressing inquiries and problem-solving efficiently.
- Collaborate with the Retail Sales Manager to create proposals, onboard new clients, and manage accounts.
- Work closely with internal teams—including logistics and strategic partnerships—to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Develop and implement training programs to educate retail clients on best practices.
- Track and analyze performance data to enhance client experience and improve service efficiency.
- Partner with IT to develop and integrate technology solutions for retail clients.
- Maintain accurate records and data within the CRM system.
- Utilize client communication software and stay updated on industry trends.
- Provide support to the Organics Solutions Sales team on various projects.
Skills & Qualifications
Required:
- 3 years of experience in waste/recycling, environmental services, or related industries.
- Strong organizational and data management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to new technologies quickly.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% for client engagement.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a vehicle.
Preferred:
- Experience in environmental logistics and total waste services.
- Knowledge of organic waste management.
- Ability to work independently in an entrepreneurial environment.
