Description : Overview :

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Front Desk Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and supporting a dynamic front desk team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading service teams to success and has successfully served in a mentoring / coaching role in the industry or similar industry. This role requires a varied schedule, and dynamic individual who can coach, lead by example, and ensure the smooth execution of daily front desk operations through effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Coach and Educate Staff : Provide ongoing training, coaching, and development to improve performance and consistency in operations.
  • Communication and Team Liaison : Serve as a conduit for exceptional communication with regards to effectively communicating program information and changes to staff, and ensuring staff is promoting accurate information to members.
  • Operational Leadership : Work regular front desk shifts and lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service, professionalism, and adherence to company standards.
  • SOP Development and Implementation : Assist in the creation, implementation, and maintenance of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for front desk operations to promote consistency and efficiency.
  • Meetings and Reporting : Conduct and participate in weekly meetings with your direct supervisor to review operations, staff performance, and any ongoing challenges or improvements.
  • Software Proficiency : Become an expert in navigating and utilizing our membership management software, Twin Oaks , to handle member accounts, transactions, and system updates efficiently.

Requirements :

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proven leadership abilities with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Self-sufficient and capable of taking initiative without close supervision.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle and resolve conflicts professionally and constructively.
  • Ability to develop and maintain a positive team culture at the front desk.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the capacity to present ideas and implement assignments effectively.
  • Basic experience with social media posting and promotion to support marketing efforts for the gym.
  • Qualifications :

  • 2-3 years of customer service experience required.
  • Experience working in a team-oriented environment required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
  • Experience in a similar role or a leadership position preferred.
  • Flexible availability to cover shifts as needed, including early mornings, late nights, and some weekends.
