He or she will be responsible for supporting the goals of the company and individual store. The Associate Selling Manager can also have specialty within the store, including merchandising, inventory, or project-related tasks.Responsibilities
ClientelingCreate and foster a database of Club Monaco customersImplement a Personal Shopper ProgramProvide unsurpassed customer service at all timesImplement a monthly outreach program to update client base as new product reaches the storeBrainstorm ideas for in-store eventsPartner with store management team and district manager to execute store eventsField customer inquiries, including questions about a specific product, quality issues, return policy questions, etc.Implement a system to track monthly sales, number of inquiries, type of inquiries, etc.Lead Product Knowledge sessions for store staffCommunicate product and customer feedback to managersAssist the Store Manager or General Manager with operational dutiesResponsible for opening and closing the store on designated shiftsEnsure monitoring and execution of daily payroll goalsAssume Store Manager responsibilities in their absenceOrganize schedules for Assistant Managers, Managers-in-Training, and StylistsAchieve or exceed financial plans through effective planning and executionMonitor sales and financial results and take appropriate action at store levelEnsure disciplined control of all store expensesContribute to long-term growth through minimum turnover and recruiting high-level candidatesEncourage empowerment and reinforce ownership in a positive work environmentEnsure management and service associates understand and meet job expectationsModel and coach selling service and other skillsProvide continuous performance feedback and necessary trainingMaximize inventory to achieve planned salesEnsure operational integrity in routines and practicesTrain managers and service associates in inventory managementTrain and support management in visual merchandising and maintenance standardsMonitor the application of policies and proceduresContribute to the success of the Company’s growth through effective Loss Prevention methodsResponsible for all opening and closing procedures of the store on all designated shiftsExperience, Skills, and Knowledge
A minimum of 5 years retail management experienceComputer proficiency with MS Office; Outlook, Excel, WordExcellent interpersonal skills supporting a team environmentExcellent English communication - verbal and writtenStrong planning and organizational skills with attention to detailAbility to recognize and react to changing work demandsGoal-oriented with a focus on creating winning resultsDedicated to high levels of Customer Service and Sales ProductivityMust be able to work shifts standing and walking and be able to lift approx 20 lbs.Required to travel to remote areas for business meetingsApply for this job
