This role can sit in our Virginia, Charlotte, Atlanta, or Nashville office with travel to projects.
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Project Management to solution, lead, and oversee the delivery of complex commercial real estate projects for our East Division, including multiple prominent national clients. This senior-level role demands an accomplished leader with extensive experience in managing both local and remote projects and building and managing a team of project management professionals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of driving project success, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to solution, resource and deliver multiple high-profile projects simultaneously. As a self-starter, you will be expected to make a significant impact, deliver a profitable projects business, effectively manage cross-functional teams, and maintain strong vendor relationships.
In this role, you will be responsible for steering the strategic direction and execution of the division’s Project Management business, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest standards. Your excellent communication skills and strategic vision will be crucial in guiding teams, managing stakeholder expectations, and achieving project goals.
Responsibilities :
- Project Sales and Solutioning :
Partner with Division Leadership to develop a projects strategy for the division.
Develop and implement strategic project plans, including defining scope, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
Build and execute a staffing model to support project needs across the division’s current client base and new business wins.
Ensure all projects adhere to industry standards, regulatory requirements, safety procedures, and quality benchmarks.
Desired Competency, Experience, and Skills :
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management within the commercial real estate sector, including experience at a director or senior leadership level.
Exceptional leadership and organizational abilities, with a track record of managing cross-functional teams and driving project success.
