The FSQA Program Manager is responsible for advancing Home Chef’s food safety and quality assurance initiatives with a continuous improvement focus. This role will develop, enhance, and implement food safety programs, identify improvement opportunities, and promote compliance with regulatory and company standards. Collaborating closely with both corporate and plant FSQA teams, the FSQA Program Manager will drive process efficiencies and innovations that reduce risk and enhance product quality.
Detailed Responsibilities
Development and implementation of policies and programs
- Work with Director of FSQA to align on Home Chef’s food safety and quality vision, goals, and priorities.
- Provide guidance to site FSQA teams to mitigate food safety, sanitation, and quality risk.
- Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF System, including food safety and quality fundamentals, and the food safety and quality plans in accordance with FSMA.
- Work closely alongside plant and corporate teams to implement new food safety and quality programs or roll out changes to existing programs as they relate to food safety, quality, and / or sanitation.
- Manage communication with plant and corporate stakeholders regarding new or updated programs.
- Lead site specialists and superintendents through regulations, policy, and program development and improvement.
- Serve as point person for leading investigations on any major food safety, quality, and sanitation issues, escalating to FSQA Director as necessary.
Continuous Improvement and Program Development
Manage Corporate FSQA Resources and Cross-functional Collaboration
Serve as Corporate FSQA Team Lead for Operations Led Process Improvements
This position requires 40% travel.
