We work with clients across the United States, with global ambitions in the years ahead.Who You Are : As a Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Engineer at Citian, you will play a key role in applying and advancing geospatial technology. You will utilize your expertise in geospatial data types, database management systems, and contribute to the development of GIS and LiDAR solutions. You will work closely with scientists and engineers within the software development group to build foundational aspects of our software lineup and complete geospatial data projects. If you are passionate about GIS and eager to contribute to the success of a startup, we would love to hear from you.Expected Duties : Geospatial Analysis : Apply geospatial analysis techniques using tools such as ArcGIS or QGIS.LiDAR Applications : Lead the development and optimization of LiDAR applications for transportation planning and system optimization.Database Management : Manage geospatial databases efficiently, ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.Python and SQL : Utilize proficiency in Python and SQL to support data processing and analysis tasks.Problem-Solving : Demonstrate a keen mind adept at problem-solving, and contribute to the team’s success.Embrace the startup mentality by wearing multiple hats and stepping outside traditional job roles as needed.
