The ideal candidate will leverage their expertise in consumption, subscription, and service-based billing models, as well as their strong technical skills in systems such as Oracle Fusion, Stripe, Tesorio, and custom-built billing engines, to drive innovation and efficiency. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure our billing infrastructure supports the organization's strategic financial objectives while maintaining compliance and enhancing user experience.What you’ll doLead the technical strategy and execution for invoice-to-cash workflow integration and enhancements.Collaborate closely with engineering, finance, and billing departments to understand and fulfill business requirements.Design and implement solutions for consumption, subscription, and service-based billing models.Oversee the integration and customization of billing platforms, including Oracle Fusion, Stripe, Tesorio, and any proprietary systems.Ensure system scalability and performance to meet evolving business demands.Identify areas for process improvement and implement strategies to optimize the invoice-to-cash cycle.Develop and maintain documentation for system architecture, configuration, and processes.Provide technical leadership and mentorship to IT team members.Serve as a point of escalation for complex technical issues and provide hands-on support as needed for the invoice-to-cash cycle.What you bringBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced technical certifications or a master’s degree is a plus.Proven experience in a technical leadership role involving billing system invoice to cash integration and management.Knowledge of Oracle Fusion, Stripe, Tesorio, and custom billing solutions or similar systems.Strong understanding of consumption, subscription, and service-based billing models.Strong project management skills with the ability to lead cross-functional initiatives.Experience in financial systems integration and SOX compliance requirements.What you’ll getA fast-paced and collaborative environmentLearning and development allowanceCompetitive cash and equity compensation and opportunity for advancement100% medical, dental, and vision coverageUp to $25K reimbursement for fertility, adoption, and parental planning servicesFlexible PTO policyMonthly wellness stipend, home office stipendAt Checkr, we believe a hybrid work environment strengthens collaboration, drives innovation, and encourages connection.
