The Opportunity
Our External Relations group is currently looking to add a Strategy & Governance Analyst to our Strategy & Governance team, which can be based in Calgary, AB; Ottawa, ON; or Washington, DC.
Reporting to the Manager, Strategy & Governance, this role is a linchpin in optimizing processes and will have the ability to make a real impact by improving how we operate and deliver value by contributing front-and-center to a variety of impactful projects and events.

- Make Things Better: Analyze current processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and effectiveness across the team and implement smarter ways to manage processes, data and information
- Connect the Dots: Work with colleagues across departments to solve problems and help deliver key initiatives
- Keep Us Organized: Oversee tasks related to our corporate membership portfolio, ensuring everything's up-to-date and running seamlessly
- Bring Culture to Life: Support initiatives and events that enhance alignment, teamwork, camaraderie, and collaboration to foster a winning culture
- Be the Go-To Resource: Stay one step ahead by anticipating needs, minimizing roadblocks, and creating proactive solutions that help the team succeed
Minimum Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in a related field
- 2 years of related experience
- Proven experience in in project coordination and event management
- Demonstrated communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to engage with people at all levels of the organization as well as external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Proven problem-solver who gets excited about finding better ways to do things
This position requires candidates to:
- Have current, valid authorization to travel internationally (including but not limited to Canada, US and Mexico)
- Occasionally be available for extended work hours outside of standard business hours, call-out support and emergency support
