Job Summary
We are seeking two dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Worker to join our team in a fast-paced event rental business. This role is 2nd shift and will be required to unload vehicles, place items back into their locations, load vehicles for the following day, fuel up trucks, and more. Someone with mechanical knowledge and familiarity with the event industry and warehouse management would be beneficial.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently pick and pack orders according to specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Maintain organization of stock within the warehouse, ensuring items are properly labeled and stored.
- Operate order pickers and other warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
- Assist in the loading and unloading of trucks, ensuring timely delivery of products.
- Conduct regular inventory checks to maintain stock levels and report discrepancies.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and enhance overall efficiency.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean working environment.
Experience
- Previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with order picking, packing, and fulfillment processes is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse equipment operation is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks as required by the job.
