- Lead the conceptual development of equipment, balancing technical specifications, process integration, design intricacy, budget constraints, and project timelines.
- Utilize your expertise to create detailed electrical schematics and control panel layouts, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
- Spearhead the development and programming of control software across a variety of platforms (PLC/HMI, Machine Vision, Motion Control, Robotics, etc.), adapting to project-specific needs.
- Collaborate closely with the assembly team and mechanical engineers, guiding the precise setup and integration of machinery.
- Conduct thorough debugging and testing phases to guarantee that all machinery meets the project's specifications and performance criteria.
- Proactively manage and update project schedules to reflect current progress and anticipate future needs.
- Embrace additional responsibilities as needed, contributing to the team's success and project excellence.
- 1 - 3 years of experience
- Associates or higher degree
- Extensive experience with PLC Controls, particularly with Beckhoff/Rockwell, Omron, and Horner platforms.
- Proficiency in HMI development, with a focus on VB.Net, Aveva, and FactoryTalk environments.Expertise in Machine Vision and Vision-guided motion systems, including Keyence & Cognex technologies.
- Skilled in programming industrial robots, especially Epson and Denso models.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical for creating and managing electrical documentation.
- Familiarity with industrial networking protocols, including Ethernet TCP/IP, Ethernet I/P, EtherCAT, and others.
- Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts and collaborating across teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
