- Creating conceptual designs and detailed CAD models for quoting purposes, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Developing innovative designs for both integration into existing equipment and the creation of new turn-key solutions.
- Maintaining a meticulous bill of materials to facilitate efficient procurement and assembly processes.
- Collaborating with electrical engineering team to ensure electrical components are integrated appropriately
- Applying problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve mechanical issues as they arise.
- Building strong relationships with clients, serving as a primary point of contact and addressing their needs effectively.
- Updating and managing project schedules to ensure timely completion and delivery.
- Being flexible and willing to undertake additional duties as assigned to support company objectives and initiatives.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of custom automation experience
- Associates or higher degree
- Proficiency in SolidWorks is essential
- Demonstrated self-motivation and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of effectively articulating technical concepts and collaborating across teams.
- Flexibility and adaptability to manage shifting priorities and tight deadlines.
