Dry Cleaners

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented person to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that garments are pressed to our standards as well as front and back of house service. This position requires a strong commitment to customer service and an eye for detail, as you will be responsible for maintaining the quality of our services in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

• Operate pressing machines and equipment to remove wrinkles and creases from garments.
• Assemble, bag and put away finished garments.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area and equipment.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of orders while maintaining quality standards.
• Uphold safety protocols and best practices in the workplace.

Requirements

• Previous experience in pressing, dry cleaning, or laundry services is preferred but not required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to occasionally interact positively with clients.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in garment care.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
• Ability to distinguish different types of fabrics.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift items as needed for pressing tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 – 35 per week
