What are the responsibilities and job description for the Psychiatric Provider NP position at TCC Health?
Purpose: The psychiatric provider will provide behavioral health care services to both children and adults in an integrated care center.
Qualifications:
- Psychiatric nurse practitioner Masters or Doctorate degree or graduated from accredited physician assistant program with at minimum 3 years post graduate experience in psychiatry.
- Self-disciplined, energetic, passionate, innovative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required
- Leadership and organizational skills essential
- Bilingual especially in Spanish is preferred, but not required
- Computer literate preferred
- Demonstrate sound judgment, decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of medical office practices, procedures and equipment
- Knowledge of problem-oriented record keeping
- Correct English usage, spelling and grammar
- Confidence to communicate and outreach to other community healthcare organizations and personnel
- Knowledge of community resources
- Must possess nurse practitioner registration in NYS, which must be unrestricted, current, complete, and active
