Food Runner/Busser/Barback

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced culinary environment. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and with exceptional service. Your ability to communicate effectively with both the kitchen staff and dining room team will be essential in delivering an outstanding dining experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.
• Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet our quality standards before serving.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down banquet events, ensuring all food service areas are clean and organized.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff regarding any special requests or modifications to orders.
• Help maintain food safety standards by adhering to proper handling and storage procedures.
• Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure smooth operations during peak service times.
• Provide support during food preparation as needed, including assisting cooks with basic tasks.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not mandatory.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests.
• Knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques is a plus.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Toast POS systems or similar point-of-sale technology is advantageous.
• A passion for helping others and providing exceptional customer service is essential.

Pay: $9.98 per hour
