What You’ll Do:
To actively support the TCC Materials Operations Group in forecasting, demand planning and procurement strategies. Primary emphasis of this role involves collaborating across the organization to develop strategic plans for supply chain planning, continuous improvement of operational processes, procurement strategies and development of planning skillsets and talent. This position will work closely with TCC Senior Management to continually evaluate the best industry practices and advise on additional resources to improve target results for productivity and continuous improvement.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assist TCC Senior Management and TCC Business Administration Manager in the development of annual strategic and operational plans/budgets.
- Work closely and develop strategies with Director - Operations (Packaging & Chemicals) and Director - Operations (Masonry & Hardscapes). Maintain strong working relationships and offer guidance to the Regional Managers, Operations for all divisions.
- Lead TCC Materials Operations Group in forecasting, demand planning and procurement strategies. Partnering with Technical Team and Regional Operations Managers with the identification and execution of cost and efficiency opportunities across all locations.
- Lead the Procurement Manager in servicing the business in the procurement of raw materials, packaging and resale items by providing decision support and structured processes to ensure best in class purchasing.
- Lead the Planning Analyst by providing strategic and analytical support to the demand planning process, playing a key role in inventory optimization.
- Oversee the Procurement, Inventory and Operations planning processes, ensuring that the demand planning, supply planning and inventory forecasts are properly managed, analyzed, communicated and the plans are aligned to business goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategies for inventory optimization, production scheduling and capacity planning.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and lead initiatives to enhance effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Analytical Tools: Develop roadmap of analytical tools and capabilities that support decision making and what-if scenario-building.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks in supply chain operations and partner with Technical Team and Regional Managers to develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions.
- Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the team to foster a collaborative and results-oriented culture.
- Maintain effective working relationships with company employees, suppliers, and customers. Promote and maintain the professional image and reputation of the company. Ensure timely problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- Perform all other duties as assigned by TCC Materials Management.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Accounting/Finance or related field required.
- 10 years related experience in Manufacturing Supply Chain Operations with focus on Procurement, Demand Planning/Forecasting.
- Familiarity with a variety of manufacturing concepts, practices and procedures.
- Experience with end-to-end supply chain planning tools including forecasting, supply planning, inventory optimization, capacity management and process solutions.
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills at both a strategic and functional level.
- Working knowledge of financial and cost management.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing circumstances and the ability to reassess plans in the face of new information.
- Must be detail-oriented with strong organizational/leadership skills
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal/networking skills
- Must be an effective problem solver – proactive approach to problem solving
- Must be capable of managing and leading people
- Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence including detailed documentation
- Ability to effectively and accurately present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, suppliers, and other employees of the organization.
- Experience with tools such as Microsoft Office, ERP (NetSuite), Planning Tools (NetSuite), and analytical dashboards (Power BI). Working knowledge of PC Window’s environment, computer literate with the ability to analyze and manage data.
Salary range: $115,000-135,000
