Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs.
- Process transactions accurately using the Point of Sale (POS) system, including cash handling and credit card processing.
- Maintain an organized and well-stocked sales floor by restocking merchandise and ensuring displays are visually appealing.
- Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
- Supervise junior staff members when necessary, providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and management to address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in stock management.
Skills
- Strong cash handling skills with attention to detail in processing transactions.
- Experience in supervising or mentoring team members is a plus.
- Bilingual abilities are highly desirable for effective communication with diverse customers.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with customers and provide outstanding service.
- Ability to efficiently stock merchandise while maintaining organization on the sales floor.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing and inventory management.
- Knowledge of retail sales strategies, including upselling techniques, to maximize sales opportunities.
