What are the responsibilities and job description for the Entry Level Safety Specialist position at TCC?
We are looking for dynamic leader to join our Production Team. This position is for a motivated, career-minded individual with a passion for efficiency and process to lead employees in a positive way toward set goals.
Pay will be based on experience.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Coordinates and supervises the daily/weekly manufacturing activities of production staff in assigned areas.
- Oversee shift production, quality, safety, and maintenance.
- Drive safety and compliance excellence by personally modeling safe behavior.
- Employee coaching, mentoring, and accountability.
- Applies expertise to solve problems within the manufacturing area.
- Manage work flow by planning, monitoring, and executing targeted job results.
- Manages KPIs and provides production reports to the Manufacturing Manager.
- Work with team members to develop, plan and execute continuous improvement initiatives.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS:
- Education/Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent in a related field, or two years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Knowledge of and ability to utilize problem solving tools.
- Ability to read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders.
- Must be highly motivated and be able to work independently.
