Investment Operations:
Investment Team: Support investment partners in a variety of capacities to ensure time allocation efficiency and prioritization of key topics for investment partners weekly meeting discussion and review. Primary responsibilities include managing weekly investment meeting agenda and materials to ensure optimal value is extracted from weekly investment team time together – including any advanced preparation needed, team staffing required, and documentation and execution of follow-ups.
Portfolio Operations:
Value Creation Planning: Help drive annual value creation planning process with deal leads, to ensure we have a complete, up-to-date, and actionable value creation plan for key portfolio companies. Develop and use resources from the Firm and vendor network to ensure we are consistently adding operational value to portfolio companies to create enterprise value for them.
Productizing Portfolio Ops: Work closely with deal leads, CFO, and GC organizations to ensure we have a constantly evolving playbook of key resources and consistent questions/areas of support we consistently receive requests for – that can add value across our portfolio. Ensure we are filling any gaps with right external relationships or functional experts. Help to productize our Portfolio Operations so it is clear what value we can add and range of services/initiatives we can support.
TCG Community: Help conceptualize, drive and support events and programming that strengthen the TCG Community and key constituents including LPs, founders, management teams, strategic partners and key talent. Focus will be on executing events and strategic communication to key stakeholders, including quarterly newsletter and functional meet-ups/shared learnings. The goal is to better connect the TCG community and create valuable connections across the portfolio that can create value for our companies post-investment.
TCG External Events and Annual Meeting: Drive event execution for highest value TCG events, including our annual LP meeting – assisting with event planning/producing, content development and event execution. On a quarterly basis, assist with developing intimate TCG hosted dinners/events that gather high value members of our community and strengthen our connection to industry thought leaders and strategics.
Talent: Partner with Talent Partner to operationalize key initiatives that better foster and retain our TCG talent roster, ensuring we have the best pipeline of world-class operators deeply connected within the TCG ecosystem.
Strategics: Help maintain the TCG strategics database, ensuring our relationships across all strategic partners are optimized and we are leveraging for maximum value of our portfolio companies as well as potential exits. Drive activity in building and accelerating relationships with strategic partners that are critical to potential exit strategies. Ensure strategics are well connected with relevant portfolio companies.
Industry Insights: Drive outside-in understanding of what's happening in the macro consumer landscape across the categories we are invested in. Develop process to ensure key M&A and other unique opportunities are tracked and surfaced for potential portfolio company value creation.
General Operations: Help build and maintain a database of important external vendors – bankers, consultants, and earlier stage investors relevant for TCG. Leverage this TCG "blackbook" to ensure that it is available and utilized as needed by the deal team and portfolio companies.
Operating Team: Support the operating team in a variety of capacities to ensure the key initiatives that support successful TCG firm scaling are properly prioritized and executed with accountability and excellence. Help drive and maintain progress against initiatives that are critical to TCG effectively scaling.
Operating Innovation: Help drive innovation efforts including how we better leverage data and AI in both our investment process and portfolio operations. Drive other x-functional efforts that modernize and optimize our internal workflow and output.
Communications and Marketing: Produce polished drafts of internal and external presentations, quarterly TCG newsletters, as well as memos and key communications for critical stakeholders. Help improve and refresh TCG GTM and case study materials relevant for LPs and target founder/CEOs for investment team utilization.
Industry Awards & Conferences: Maintain TCG master conference priority tracker with relevant events for TCG and our portfolio companies. Additionally, liaise with portcos to ensure inclusion in key lists/awards.
Qualifications:
Expected annual base salary range: $160,000 - 180,000
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individual's experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
Additional compensation: Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.

- Strategic and operational role that supports TCG partners and the team more broadly enabling the firm to stay organized, effective and accountable. (Approximately 25% of the role)

Qualifications:
- 3-6 years of investment, private equity, or consultant experience.
- Motivated and enthusiastic self-starter who works on own initiative, self-directed.
- Teammate that helps build a culture of teamwork, collaboration, positivity, and drive for success.
- Flexible, agile, and willing to get involved in many different aspects of the business as required.
- Analytically strong, and equal strengths in research, business ops, and written / verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and ability to distill complex topics for various audiences, including executive communication.
