Welcome to the best view on the Northshore! The Anchor, located in Madisonville on the Tchefuncte River, serves a Gulf-inspired menu in a fun family setting. We are looking for a talented cook to fill orders at The Anchor. You will be responsible for our customers’ experiences. The cooks responsibilities include ensuring our line is clean and tidy at all times, food preparation and presentation. You need to be quick on your feet and have a polite and friendly attitude. If you enjoy creating creative cuisine and thrive in a fast-paced workplace, we’d like to meet you.
Working Environment :
- Interior of restaurant, in restaurant and kitchen areas, with exposure to humidity, steam and extreme temperatures
- Exposure to Food and Beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals
- Requires ability to lift up to 50 pounds with ease
- Walking, stooping, standing, bending and sitting; possibly for more than 1 hour
- Ability to communicate orally and in written form, in English'
