TCI has an immediate need for a Digital Marketing assistant in Louisville, KY or Washington D.C.
This is a hybrid work opportunity - 2 days on-site and 3 days local remote. Core hours are from 9:00 am to 5:30 pm EST.
SUMMARY
As a Digital Marketing Assistant you will be part of a digital team that is performing a major overhaul of their global website. The successful candidate will work within the global communications group to contribute to ensuring the project is a success, primarily through supporting the team on a wide range of digital marketing and administrative tasks to ensure the ongoing delivery of timely updates to the website. The role will work very closely with members of the Digital Marketing and Content teams around the world.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Collaborate with the Digital Marketing Operations Manager to support key workstreams involved in the website hosting migration from Rackspace to Sitecore Managed Cloud.
- Conduct thorough user acceptance testing on the site and its internal applications as a part of the hosting migration. This includes:
- Conducting frontend functionality testing across the website to ensure seamless performance and excellent user experience.
- Testing and validating the implementation and integration of CMS features, plugins, and their functionality.
- Coordinate with internal teams and the external website agency to facilitate a smooth and efficient transition between hosting providers.
- Manage content updates and creating new pages across all languages on the website.
- Monitor the website’s performance, proactively identifying and resolving issues to ensure the site operates at optimal speed and stability.
- Oversee and triage website-related requests through the team’s shared inbox, prioritizing tasks, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as necessary.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience with content management systems and/ an understanding of website functionality
- Experience working in a marketing role in a professional services environment
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a logical, methodical manner.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong organizational and effective interpersonal skills.
- Shows initiative; a self-starter.
- Ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure.
DESIRED (Nice-to-haves) SKILLS
- Experience working within a professional services environment previously is desired.
- Experience using project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana) desirable
