Jr Management Analyst

Tele-Consultants, Inc. (TCI) is seeking a Junior Level Management Analyst to join our team in support of the Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Newport (NUWCDIVNPT).

Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• 
  Extract and analyze periodic financial data for the purpose of purpose of project and organizational project financial execution monitoring;
• Support labor and non-labor cost reporting and identification of erroneous charges, overruns, and other rejected inputs;
• Prepare monthly expenditure reports to compare funding appropriation obligations and expenditures vs goals and established DoN benchmarks;
• Perform fiscal year close-out and start-up analyses;
• Review purchase requisitions for accuracy and ensure the information matches approved project plans and budgets;
• Prepare and compile other ad hoc reports as required by the client.

Education and Experience:

• Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a business or technical field from an accredited university;
• 3 years of experience in engineering/science management, operations research analysis or financial/cost analysis;
• Significant experience in U.S. Navy programs or operations required;
• Demonstrated experience performing financial management using Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems and tools, including Enterprise Data Warehouse and Navy ERP.

Additional Required Qualifications:

• Demonstrated proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft Access, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Visio;
• Prior experience supporting NUWCDIVNPT, especially within the Undersea Warfare Electromagnetic System Department would be considered a PLUS!
• Ability to communicate effectively in team-oriented, fast-paced environment;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

The nature of this position requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a thorough background investigation.

The primary location for performance of the work will be in Newport, RI with very limited travel, if any, required within the continental United States.
