Southland Industries is currently seeking a Senior Proposal Specialist to join our team. If you are creative, a self-starter, and love putting together proposals that will help move our business forward, we want to hear from you!
What you’ll do :
- You’ll work with our Energy team and take the lead and ownership of prequalification and proposal preparation. This includes coordinating RFQ and RFP preparation, including, but not limited to, scope, resumes, project lists, organization charts, and any collateral / supporting documentation.
- You will need to be able to thrive in a fast paced, dynamic environment where clear and precise communication is critical to the continued growth of the business.
- You’ll also develop compliance matrices, timelines for document preparation, submission requirements and responsibilities, and final package submission.
- You’ll be able to use your creative skills to design, prepare, and format general introductory packages, handouts, and presentations.
- Manage, coordinate, and facilitate trade shows and conference events. Ability to travel to support trade shows (one to two per year).
- Assist with power point presentation design and content.
- You have the opportunity to be part of a corporate wide proposal team for collaboration and cross division support.

Pay : Final pay is determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. For (Colorado / New York City / California / Washington) this ranges from $75,000 - $90,000 plus annual incentive, benefits and retirement program as outlined above.
