What are the responsibilities and job description for the Childcare Director position at TCLC?
We are looking for a Child Care Director to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in child education, as well as experience organizing children's activities and working with families. The Child Care Director will also manage the day to day operations of the school, and be responsible for organizing arts and crafts programs for the children. The successful candidate will be a great communicator and a highly organized professional with a genuine interest in the well-being of children.
Responsibilities:
- Provide care for children.
- Administer first aid to sick children.
- Comply with child welfare laws.
- Create developmentally appropriate activities for children.
- Communicate with other child care workers to discuss individual children's needs and progress.
- Schedule and participate in training programs and workshops on topics such as nutrition, emotional growth, and safety issues.
- Maintain records of individual children's progress and safety issues.
- Communicate with parents to discuss their children's needs.
- Be aware of laws pertaining to sick and injured children.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $41,631.00 - $44,562.00 per year
