Duties
- Perform general landscape maintenance tasks such as mowing, trimming, and edging lawns.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Engage in tree care activities including planting, pruning, and removing trees as necessary.
- Help build hardscape features such as patios, walkways, and retaining walls.
- Maintain gardens by planting flowers, shrubs, and other vegetation while ensuring proper care and upkeep.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge to operate landscaping equipment safely and efficiently.
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to quality standards.
- Ensure all work areas are clean and organized at the end of each day.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in landscape maintenance or related fields is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of lawn care practices including mowing techniques and pest management is beneficial.
- Familiarity with tree care methods and irrigation systems is a plus.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Strong mechanical knowledge for operating landscaping tools and machinery effectively.
