Objective
TCN Behavioral Health Services, Inc., a Non-Profit Organization, is seeking a qualified applicant for the position of Co-Responder Crisis Clinician.

Primary Responsibilities
- Respond to, assess and follow-up on referrals from law enforcement, partnering agencies and community members relating to potential individuals in need of behavioral health intervention or resources.
- Perform outreach activities to members of the community who are affected by behavioral health challenges.
- Address underlying personal and social vulnerabilities that may mitigate the likelihood of future crisis events.
- Display sensitivity to the cultural needs of the individual and/or family served and provide services from a person-centered approach.
- Conduct training sessions on topics such as de-escalation, suicide prevention, and mental health awareness.
- De-escalate potentially volatile situations involving individuals in crisis.
- Develop and implement crisis intervention plans.

Work Environment
- This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, copiers, etc.
Qualifications
- At least Bachelor's degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or related field required.
- At least LSW or LPC required; independent licensure preferred.
- Valid Ohio Driver’s License
- Two years’ experience in clinical social work, co-responder experience, victim advocacy, or therapy, including working with moderate to severe and persistently mentally ill populations preferred.
- Knowledge of practices of de-escalation, crisis intervention and management, case management, linking to services and follow up individuals in crisis.
- Knowledge of risk and lethality assessment.
- Knowledge of coordination of emergency services when clinically indicated or medically necessary.
