Urgently looking for IT Sales Manager /Business Development Manager
Dear Candidate ,
We are currently looking for a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager .
Location: Boston, MA (Mostly remote)
Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue and growth targets within the IT sector .
Team Leadership: Manage and lead a team of IT sales professionals, providing guidance, support, and performance management.
Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their IT needs and aligning solutions to meet them.
New Client Acquisition: Generate new leads and convert them into customers. Market Research: Stay current with IT industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to identify new opportunities and threats.
Sales Pipeline Management: Monitor and optimize the sales pipeline, from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a consistent and healthy sales funnel.
Proposal and Contract Negotiation: Oversee the preparation of proposals, contracts, and pricing negotiations to secure new business.
Sales Forecasting: Provide accurate sales forecasts and regular reporting on sales performance to senior management.
Product Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of IT products and services, and effectively communicate their features and benefits to clients.
Sales Training: Train, mentor, and develop sales team members to enhance their skills and knowledge of the IT industry.
Customer Satisfaction: Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client concerns and feedback promptly.
Budget Management: Manage the sales budget and resource allocation to optimize the return on investment.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.
Experience: Proven track record of at least 4 years in IT sales. Experience with staffing agencies or consultancies is required. Experience with new client acquisition is a must. Industry Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the IT industry, including software, hardware, and services.
Leadership Skills: Strong leadership, coaching, and team management abilities.
Sales Skills: Excellent sales, negotiation, and closing skills with a demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively present complex technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Customer Focus: A customer-centric approach with a strong commitment to client satisfaction.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to understand client needs and align solutions.
Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with current technologies and other sales tools
Travel: Willingness to travel as required (if applicable).
