We are seeking skilled professionals to operate and maintain our aerostat system, a cutting-edge Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) platform. This is a unique opportunity to work on a complex system that requires expertise in multiple areas including electronics, mechanics, and information technology.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in the hands-on operation of the aerostat system, including launch, in-flight, recovery, and moored activities.
- Operate the aerostat, its Mobile Mooring Platform (MMP), Sensor Payload(s), communications and navigation systems as well as associated support equipment.
Requirements:
- A high school diploma or equivalent, plus formal technical training via military or civilian technical schools.
- Meet all physical, medical, and other requirements for overseas deployment by current DOD regulations.
- Must be willing to work and live in U.S. Military Bases and at remote site locations with very sparse accommodations.
Level 1 Operator Requirements:
- Electronic Maintenance: Radar, ISR, EW, communication, avionics repair, and troubleshooting.
- ISR: Airborne or ground data collection and dissemination.
- Information Technology: Network Installation (BICSI or Network or Comp T Certification); CCIE with fiber optic certification or CISCO Network Administrator.
- Mechanical Maintenance: Repair and troubleshooting diesel generators and/or vehicles, automotive engines, hydraulics, and/or aircraft mechanical background.
Level 2 Operator Requirements:
- 3-4 years of experience in Level 1 criteria.
- Aerostat experience is a plus.
