Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Window and Door Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in installing, maintaining, and repairing windows, doors, and associated components. This role requires a strong attention to detail, craftsmanship, and the ability to perform various installation and repair tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Window Installation and Repair
- Install window sashes, ensuring proper fit and functionality.
- Re-screen windows and sliding glass door (SGD) screens with precision.
- Install pre-ordered screens on windows and doors.
- Perform minor capping of windows and doors for a finished appearance.
- Door Hardware and Installation
- Install handle sets on all types of doors.
- Install and replace hardware and parts for various window and door types.
- Carpentry and Finishing Work
- Conduct small carpentry projects, including installing or repairing trim on windows and doors.
- Perform minor trim-outs and touch-ups as needed.
- Sealing and Weatherproofing
- Apply caulking to windows and doors to enhance insulation and weatherproofing.
- General Duties
- Assist with additional tasks and duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
