At TCS Communications, LLC, as a Warehouse Technician, you’ll provide materials used in installing, repairing, and/or maintaining underground utilities and will be responsible for receiving, delivering, tracking, maintaining, issuing, and stocking materials.

- Receive, inspect, store, and secure all supplies and materials when delivered.
- Set-up a stock issue and control system that will account for and track all materials used in our construction process.
- Maintain all received inventory in an organized and efficient manner.
- Assign and account for all materials issued to work crews on a daily basis.
- Maintain a “shelf stock” of parts, tools and any other job-required supplies.
- Conduct a complete physical inventory each month that will account for all materials stored, received, and issued from the warehouse and yard.
- Maintain material usage logs/spreadsheets to comply with our customer’s usage and tracking systems.
- Assist in the management, maintenance, and upkeep of fleet tools and equipment assigned to the project.
- Operates vehicle following all safety and traffic regulations including daily maintenance of vehicle.
- Other duties as assigned.
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Holds and maintains a valid driver's license, Class A CDL preferred
- A good driving record is required
- Ability to operate a forklift
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Ability to cycle count materials accurately for inventory
- Proven decision-making skills and the ability to succeed in a dynamic, highly visible/risk intensive environment
- The ability to adapt to changing priorities and/or environments is necessary
