What are the responsibilities and job description for the Adjunct Professor of Clinical Skills - Physicianship position at TCS Education?
Job Description :
Reporting to the Associate Dean of Pre-Clerkship Education this role will provide instruction specifically in Clinical Skills for the Physicianship Track.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES :
Teaching (100%)
- Works with Department Chair to provide hands-on student training in history and physical assessment, diagnostic testing, and procedural skills
- Assists in monitoring the progress of all students to ensure successful progress toward graduation and recommend disciplinary action when necessary
- Teaches in assigned courses
- Assist in student testing, re-testing and remediation as necessary
- Develop clinical scenarios for standardized patient education assessment / evaluation and simulation educucation / assessment
- Perform other related duties, as assigned
