What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mobility Field Service Technician position at TCS Govcon?
We are looking for a highly motivated Mobility Field Service Technician to join our team at TCS Govcon. As a key member of our Combat and Strategic Systems Operation, you will be responsible for providing maintenance and repair services for medium and light tactical vehicle platforms.
Your primary responsibilities will include identifying and replacing components, conducting functional tests, and documenting maintenance actions. Additionally, you will review technical documentation to identify planned maintenance action requirements, implement service advisories and service bulletins, and provide analysis and recommendations for changes and improvements to equipment installation, operation, modification, and maintenance.
This role requires flexibility, with occasional travel to various locations, up to 50% of the time. A high school diploma or equivalent and a minimum of five years of relevant experience in integration, installation, repair, and preventative maintenance efforts for military wheeled vehicles are required.
Key qualifications include a valid driver's license, strong mechanical skills, and experience supporting military ground tactical vehicles. Knowledge of quality systems and ability to use various hand, power-driven, and specialty tools are also essential.
