Location: Saint John’s Hospital, Leavenworth

Shifts Available:

• 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• 10:00 AM to 7:30 PM

Job Description: Saint John’s Hospital in Leavenworth is seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Environmental Services (EVS) Housekeeping staff to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment throughout the hospital, ensuring that our patients, staff, and visitors have a pleasant and healthy experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform cleaning and sanitizing tasks in patient rooms, bathrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Follow established cleaning procedures and protocols to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Handle and dispose of waste materials safely and appropriately.
• Replenish supplies as needed, including soap, paper products, and cleaning materials.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, floor scrubbers, and buffers.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate department.
• Comply with all safety and infection control guidelines.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week

• 8 hour shift
• Morning shift
