Location: Leola, PA
Full-Time
Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm Monday through Friday
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Responsible for overseeing safe prop usage and safety of props
• Organize and catalogue prop inventory
• Acquire, replace and/or fix damaged props as needed and directed
• Work collectively with department team members to pull props and prepare sets for upcoming shoots
• Run errands such as flower pick up or prop shopping
• Prop handling: pull, clean, de-prop and put away small props and soft goods
• Strictly follow organization directives for prop storage and suggest improvements as needed to ensure prop integrity
• Iron and perform soft material prep
• Maintains the storage and inventory of all small props, prop room, prop kitchen, food stylist kitchen, plants/planters, and art storage area
• Cleaning of sets, props, prop refrigerators and floral refrigerator. Keep prop rooms clean and in order
• Organization and cleaning of plant room
• Work under guidance of Large Prop Master to maintain light and furniture inventory
• Performs duties in compliance with established department policies and procedures to ensure consistent application
• Maintain a team player and positive attitude and help other departments as needed
• Organize props and art at sets while keeping clear pathways surrounding racks where prop carts are stored as well as pathways and shelves in the prop room. Props carts must be de-propped within 48 hours. Items must have a designated home, if there is no space you must create a home using organizational standards. All purged items must be approved by Art Director
• Must be aware and stay current with style trends in interior and exterior design techniques as well as fashion design trends. This encompasses savvy coordination of products with props for a shoot
• Understand deadlines and timelines and work with team members to ensure we are meeting our clients expectations
• Communicate effectively with team members
• Work with and maintain project management software as needed.
• Make recommendations for capital expenditures that will improve quality, creativity, efficiency, and profitability of our deliverables

QUALIFICATIONS:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or equivalent
• Professional experience related to department: 1 year preferred
• Knowledge and expertise in professional studio setting preferred
• Must have outstanding verbal and written communication skills
