TCW Trends, Inc. is seeking an experienced Apparel Product Development Coordinator to join our team.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and knowledgeable Apparel Product Development Coordinator to oversee the development of apparel products from concept to production. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in knits and wovens fabrics, as well as all apparel categories (men's, women's, kids).
Responsibilities:
- Maintain expertise in current retail trends, fabrics, and production methods
- Collaborate with customer design teams, making recommendations and presentations
- Manage retail price points and production costing
- Oversee and update the NYC showroom fabric and trim library
- Research and resource the latest fabric trends, finishes, trims, and added-value processes
- Work closely with customers' design calendars, ensuring collections meet hard deadlines
- Develop and maintain relationships with overseas fabric and trim suppliers
- Demonstrate proficiency in fabric technical construction and garment construction
Requirements:
- AA or BS/BA in relevant field.
- 3 years of experience in apparel product development
- Must be proficient in Excel, Adobe , PLM, Powerpoint
- In-depth knowledge of knits and wovens fabrics, as well as all apparel categories (men's, women's, kids)
- Strong understanding of current retail trends, production methods, and costing
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project management skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and priorities
- Should have overseas contacts with fabric and trim suppliers.
Expected hours: 40 per week
