What are the responsibilities and job description for the Architectural Project Manager position at TD Architects, Inc.?
We are looking for a highly motivated, hands-on individual as a Project Manager. In this role, the Project Manager will oversee all aspects of the design and construction process of a building project – from developing and reviewing building plans to making sure a project meets environmental and zoning standards. Specific responsibilities include project scheduling, overseeing the schematic design process, design development, the production of construction documentation and construction administration. In addition, the Project Manager will facilitate meetings with clients and consultants and work with staff to ensure projects are kept on-track and meet deadlines.
Qualifications include a professional degree in Architecture and a minimum of three (3) years of experience in a Project Manager role within an architecture or construction organization. Project coordination and leadership skills and knowledge of construction methods is mandatory. The ability to meet deadlines and budget time is required. The ideal candidate will have a flexible and open attitude towards new ways of working. Experience with various computer software is preferred – specifically with AutoCAD, Revit, Sketchup Microsoft Project, Microsoft Office Suite, and BlueBeam.
