Shift Options:
Day - Monday - Friday 7AM - End of Production
Evening – Sunday – Thursday 7PM - End of Production
Type of Work: Hot, Heavy, & Rewarding! We have job opportunities in Assembly, Machining, Quality, Logistics, Die Cast, and Sand Cast. Don't worry if you have not worked in manufacturing before, we will work with you and train you!
Die cast produces the 3 main components of the compressor; the front housing (FH), the rear housing (RH) and the cylinder. Aluminum is poured into the machine, and the machine injects the aluminum into the die. It has a cooling off period so that the aluminum can harden, which takes about 60 seconds.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Maintain and improve a clean and safe working environment. Follow quality standard instructions, track, identify, and prevent defects. Read, follow, and verify work instructions to meet established internal and external safety, quality, delivery, and cost standards, in accordance with the quality management system. Comply with all company policies & rules, county, state and federal regulations. Work with others to create a positive environment through courtesy, dignity, and respect. Perform other duties as necessary.
Physical Demands: Associates are required to stand; walk; sit; and use hands to finger, handle, or feel. Occasionally required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally lift and/or move at least 50 pounds safely. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Work in a manufacturing environment with elevated temperatures.
Qualifications, Education, & Experience: While experience is preferred, we'll train you! A willingness to learn and positive attitude. Proficient in written and spoken English. Ability to work in a multi-cultural, team oriented environment. Ability to read, understand, and work with different tools and work instructions in a manufacturing environment.
