Description: Deliver legendary customer experiences by processing everyday banking transactions with accuracy and efficiency, educating customers on TD's products and services, or referring them to a partner for specialized solutions.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform customer transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loan and safe deposit box payments efficiently
- Process cash transactions such as cashing checks, verifying currency, balancing cash drawer, and night deposits with a high level of accuracy
- Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and concerns using standard procedures and escalating to management as necessary
- Engage in lobby leadership by orchestrating customer flow, warmly welcoming customers, and guiding appropriately
- Understand customer preferences with banking (when and how they want) and educate customers on self-service/digital options that meet their needs
- Act as an advocate for the customer by conducting needs-based conversations; offering financial & digital solutions, and/or referring the customer to appropriate partner to provide solutions
- Make sound decisions and provide timely problem resolution, escalating more difficult issues to management
- Evaluate and interpret data related to customer behavior and identify areas for improvement
- Evaluate and recommend changes to existing business processes and procedures
- Maintain accurate records and reports related to customer interactions and sales activity
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months work-related experience preferred; or equivalent can be demonstrated through any of the following: volunteering, education, military experience
- Ability to work during operating hours to include weekends, evenings, holidays as scheduled
- Demonstrated Customer Service skills preferred
- Strong organizational skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to function in a fast-paced and changing environment
- Excellent communication skills with ability to be concise, clear and consistent
