Job Title: Head, US Talent Management
About the Role
This is a leadership position responsible for leading a team of internal talent and learning advisors in support of the U.S. Bank.
The role partners with stakeholders to evaluate business challenges, identifies opportunities to influence/implement change initiatives, and builds ongoing support for talent solutions that meet the changing needs of the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Provides people management leadership by hiring the best talent, setting goals, developing staff, managing employee performance and compensation decisions, promoting teamwork and handling any/all disciplinary actions, as required
- Develops, designs and deploys programs and practices to accelerate the development of TD's Executive and Pipeline Talent
- Proactively identifies solutions to fill organizational talent gaps as identified in our annual talent plan process
- Serves as an internal talent and learning consultant and advisor to HR and Business leaders
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 10 years related experience, including at least 5 years of people management experience
- Exceptional influencing/coaching skills to accomplish objectives through others and to build individual, team and organizational effectiveness
