Job Title: Regional Manger of Operations

Location: Columbus, OH

Reports To: COO/CEO

Salary: $80,000 - $100,000

Role Purpose:

The Regional Manager of Operations is responsible for the day-to-day operations, cultural development, and overall performance of the dental practices within TD Dental Group. This role ensures alignment with company values, maintains operational excellence, and drives the practice toward achieving key performance metrics within the EOS framework.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Operational Excellence:
  • Manage all practice operations, including scheduling, patient flow, team coordination, and adherence to company policies, coaching & training the team, collections & A/R support, and collaboration across all departments.
  • Ensure operational systems, processes, and workflows are effective, efficient, and consistently followed by all team members.
  • Oversee the implementation and execution of new systems and processes to drive operational improvements.
  • Ensure all practices adhere to local, state, and federal regulations (e.g., OSHA, HIPAA, etc.), as well as industry standards for healthcare/dental practices.

2. Budgeting and Financial Management:

  • Oversee practice budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure adherence to fiscal goals.
  • Work with leadership to align financial operations with overall business objectives and provide regular financial updates.

3.Cultural Leadership:

  • Foster a positive work culture in alignment with the our core values while embracing the culture within each individual practice.
  • Lead by example, ensuring the team embodies the company’s mission and vision.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with team members to ensure morale, communication, and teamwork are high.

4.Metrics & Accountability:

  • Own and drive performance metrics, including patient satisfaction, revenue goals, collections, and production targets.
  • Develop and monitor KPIs, ensuring that practices are on track with goals set forth in the EOS framework.
  • Use data-driven decision-making to address underperformance and identify areas for improvement.

5.People Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach practice managers and team members to ensure high levels of performance.
  • Assist in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining top talent, ensuring the right people are in the right seats.
  • Facilitate conflict resolution and provide leadership in managing day-to-day personnel issues.
  • Develop and implement training programs to ensure continuous professional development of team members.

6.Building Positive Communication Between Offices and Ownership:

  • Act as a bridge between individual offices and ownership/management, ensuring transparent, positive, and productive communication.
  • Regularly communicate company goals, changes, and updates between office staff and leadership to ensure alignment and mutual understanding.
  • Promote collaboration across offices, encouraging sharing of best practices and celebrating group-wide successes.

7.Strategic Planning:

  • Participate in EOS meetings (Weekly L10, quarterly, and annual planning) to ensure operational alignment with company goals.
  • Contribute to long-term strategic planning, providing insights and recommendations based on operational data.
  • Collaborate with the leadership team to ensure practices are equipped to grow and scale efficiently.

8.Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure all practices adhere to industry regulations and best practices, including HIPAA, OSHA, and other relevant legal requirements.
  • Identify operational risks and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, ensuring practices operate with minimal disruption and liability.
  • Develop crisis management protocols for quick and effective responses to emergencies or operational disruptions.

9.Technology and Tools Management:

  • Oversee the implementation and use of practice management software and other digital tools, ensuring systems are optimized for efficiency.
  • Ensure team members are trained on relevant software and technology tools to maximize practice performance.

10.Change Management:

  • Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions when implementing new systems, processes, or organizational changes.
  • Manage the communication and engagement strategies to support team buy-in during transitions.

11.Travel Requirements:

  • This role requires travel between practice locations to provide hands-on support, ensure consistency, and address operational needs across sites.
