About Us:
TD Eure Marine Construction is a leader in marine construction, dredging, and shoreline protection projects throughout Eastern North Carolina. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and motivated individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Construction Coordinator. This role is ideal for someone with strong organizational and administrative skills who is eager to learn about construction project management. We will provide hands-on training to help develop your expertise in submittals, safety, quality control, scheduling, and subcontractor management.
Key Responsibilities:
As a trainable candidate, you will receive on-the-job training to develop the following skills:
- Takeoffs & Estimating: Assist in performing quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects. Learn to analyze plans and specifications to support estimating efforts. Work alongside project managers and estimators to compile pricing, request vendor quotes, and prepare bid proposals. Develop an understanding of construction costs, industry pricing, and estimating best practices over time.
- Submittals & Documentation: Assist in collecting, organizing, and submitting project submittals in compliance with contract requirements.
- Subcontractor Coordination: Help find and pre-qualify subcontractors for projects, track subcontractor performance, and assist with subcontractor pay application reviews.
- Project Scheduling: Learn to build and maintain construction schedules, tracking progress and milestones.
- Safety & Quality Control: Train to become qualified in safety and quality control, assisting in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Meetings & Communication: Attend pre-bid meetings, pre-construction meetings, and monthly superintendent meetings, supporting project coordination efforts.
- Plans & Specs Understanding: Develop the ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications to assist in project execution.
- Project Planning & Risk Management: Learn to create Project Plans, Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs), and other risk management documentation.
- Accountability & Communication: Maintain accountability for your work hours and effectively communicate with the Project Manager and field teams.

Qualifications & Skills:
· Transferable Skills from previous roles such as administrative assistant, project coordinator, document control specialist, or office manager.
· Strong organizational and time management skills.
· Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
· Willingness to travel as needed for projects.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); familiarity with Procore or Bluebeam is a plus.
· Interest in learning construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control procedures.
